Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the Ryan Oh CPA website (ryanohcpa.com) and the RCL (Ryan CPA Lab) client app. RCL lets clients view monthly profit-and-loss and financial-position reports, estimated tax, tax schedules, and requested materials.
1. Information we process

The RCL app does not store WEHAGO passwords, authentication tokens, or source Excel files. It displays only internally approved report data.
2. How we collect
- Consultation requests and inquiries via email or KakaoTalk channel
- Information provided during client engagement and service use
- Usage records generated when logging in, viewing reports, or posting questions in the RCL app
3. Purposes of use
- Delivering each client's monthly tax and financial management report
- Communicating estimated tax and tax-calendar information
- Requesting materials and responding to consultations/questions
- Providing internally reviewed, approved tax-saving review candidates
- Service security, error checking, and customer support
4. Retention period
We delete personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use is achieved, except where retention is required for service delivery, tax advisory, dispute resolution, or by applicable law.
- Tax and accounting records: retention periods set by applicable law (e.g., the Framework Act on National Taxes)
- Consultation and engagement records: period needed under applicable law and for dispute resolution
- Test-participant client data: deleted or de-identified per internal standards upon test completion or client request
5. Provision to third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties except with the data subject's consent or where specifically required by law.
6. Outsourcing of processing
Client data is currently used only within the scope of the responsible tax professional's review and service delivery, and is not separately outsourced. If we later use external systems (cloud, authentication, notification, payment, analytics), we will specify the processor and the outsourced work in this policy and manage them under applicable law.
7. Your rights
You may at any time request to access, correct, delete, or suspend processing of your personal information, delete your account or records, and withdraw consent. Submit requests to the contact below. Data that must be retained under tax, commercial, or electronic-document laws may be kept for the required period.
8. Destruction
Personal information whose retention period has passed or whose purpose has been achieved is destroyed without delay — electronic files by irreversible deletion, printed materials by shredding or incineration.
9. Security measures
- Separation of approved public reports from internal review data
- WEHAGO credentials and automation secrets are never stored in the app package
- Least-privilege access, limited to assigned personnel
- No advertising tracking and no third-party ads
10. Children
This service is intended for business clients and their representatives, and does not knowingly collect information from children under 14.
